Dante Richardson / OffertoriumDante co-founded PipeDreamers with Jodi Anderson Jr. and Darnell Epps around a practical question: how can young people who face barriers to opportunity find the mentors, programs, skills, and connections they need?
The Stanford Accelerator for Learning’s Learning Design Challenge offered a place to test that idea through research, design, and prototyping. Stanford’s showcase lists PipeDreamers among its Research-to-Practice Award winners and names Dante on the team. Its annual report describes a technology concept for matching young people to mentors, educational and professional opportunities, and community resources.

The work moved toward education and workforce access in Western New York. In 2023, reporting documented a Stanford computing course at Niagara Falls High School supported by PipeDreamers, with students learning programming, databases, websites, and AI tools. Read the report ↗
Dante’s approach now joins learning design, systems thinking, and software creation: understand the learner and the surrounding system, then build tools and partnerships that can make an opportunity usable. That perspective informs his product and AI strategy work today.

PipeDreamers brought Niagara Falls students to Odoo in downtown Buffalo for a work experience TechTrip—an opportunity to see a technology workplace firsthand.

Students describe what the CS 105 experience meant to them. The film belongs to the learning story, not a claim of a Stanford degree.
